1Mumbai - Chennai Train Travel
The Chennai - Mumbai train route has been neglected since last 30 years. It is often called as the "GOD FORSAKEN" route as no railway minister has so far done any improvement. For a distance of 1200 KM, one has to travel 24 Hours. From Mumbai there are atleast half a dozen trains to Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kochi and dozen trains to Delhi, UP, Bihar and Kolkatta but Chennai where the traffic is significantly high is not given an Extra Train. Rampant Beggar Menace, Frequent Thefts, Poor quality of Food are other problems in this route. Passengers are forced to travel by Air due to non-availablity of ac car tickets. When will Railways take action?, Who will own the responsibility for this slip shod services?
