And she walks the aisle...

Clad in white as she takes her final steps through the aisle, she tightly clutches on to the hand of the man who has always showered her with selfless love and care since the time he first cuddled her delicate, petite body in his arms. She held’s her other hand in the palms of the man who promises to be her loyal companion for rest of her life. He has vowed to take care of her till his last breath and share her happiness and sorrows till death does them apart. Gosh…..that’s truly picture perfect…. A million emotions run through this newlywed bride who stands at the crossroad of her life. She is excited, happy, nervous, a little apprehensive too. She is happy to have found her soul mate, her best friend, her partner for life. The one who will be there for her no matter what. The one who loves her like no one else. The one who knows her like no one can. The one who hold’s her hand in public and says “that’s my life”. This gorgeous woman is happy, extremely happy. She has no words to express her joy, her elation, her thrill. But amongst all this jubilation and euphoria the eyes of this young bride keeps looking out for the man who first embraced her when she was born, the one who clasped her tightly when she took her first toddler steps, the one who gave her a cosy hug when she was crying on her first day to school, the one who believed in her dreams and taught her to believe in herself, the one who was present for all her life battles. He was her first coach, her first teacher, her first friend, her first role model. He is her Father. Today, she stands at the aisle, holding the hands of two most important people in her life. The one who took her hand and taught her to walk in her formative years and the other who holds her hand to share the walk of her future life. At one moment she has happy tears in her eyes as she thinks of the fun filled childhood memories she shared with her father. At the other moment she has beaming eyes filled with joy for having found his partner for life. With these gamut of emotions the bride takes her final steps through the aisle, her one hand in the hands of the “man of her dreams” and the other in the “man who taught her to dream”. Grasping on to hands of these two pillars of her life she sets her feet into her new world. She is not scared anymore. She is not nervous. She is confident. She is poised. She knows her new life will bring across new surprises, new expectations, new decisions, new responsibilities for her. But with these two men standing by her side she can deal with any thing in life. For she knows they will not let her fall. They will hold her, embrace her, cling on to her for all times to come.
