India the largest democracy of the World, but with the smallest contribution towards environment protection. Our great nation is considered to be having the most highly educated people in the World, who love to talk like American, dress like European, eat Italian flavored chips but then comes the Indian touch and there goes that chips packet on the road like as if that is the right thing to do.

It is maybe, as we were never told to keep our country clean. Our house has to be nice, clean but does not matter what it looks like when we look through that window of our beautiful home and when we go to bed, it is time for us to always dream of going to Canada or some other foreign country because it is nice and clean there.

India has one of the best cultures with great traditional value towards families and friends. Making sure our kids do get the best of education and very best of the health. As India is becoming more and more modernized day by day, our kids are even learning more and more about the high end technology plus the regular studies, isn’t that great.

They also go to learn how to play guitar, but unaware of the air they are breathing in. The most important is, did we have the guts to tell them what all have happened to our climate and it is high time to change our life style and stop destroying our resources. No the answer is No.

But of course on TV or in Newspaper’s you see some commercials saying stop pollution and save fuel, thinking that is enough of information. But think is it or you need to give more details. When it is time to go party we are always ready for it. The minute you talk about nation. It is like dude you live only once so enjoy your life, stop that topic.

Of course guys it is the only one chance we have to save water as it has gone as deep as 300 feet in Punjab, imagine things just after ten years. It is predicted that the next war will be for water not for oil anymore. But our all time favorite is noise pollution. It is said if you can drive in India you can drive in anywhere in the World, but for sure you will get noticed by your habit of blowing horn. It seems when a kid is born in India.

The first thing, kid learns is how to blow horn and then it continues for his/her whole life without knowing how badly it is affecting others life and even there own. We hate to share anything it could be even the road we drive on, so please blow horn during the day and use dipper at night. I don’t think I should talk about how we follow the traffic rules.

One can write a book about that. We all know if we go out as an individual and try to do something for the country maybe even cleaning or picking up the plastic bag which was thrown by your neighbour. You will be most likely starred by the entire neighborhood, thinking you have gone out of your mind.

Well if it is done in England by a white guy then of course, it is the right thing to do and these are good manners. I urge all the youth or the people who think we need to change India (Groups, Communities, Societies or individual) please to come forward and join our team to make sure we can educate and change the thinking of all the great people living in India.
We are looking for volunteers in making this a successful platform. The base had been already made. We have a website which can be used to show all the events that are happening with there clips and pictures. We are on Youtube, Orkut, Facebook and G-talk also.
There is a trust account for all the funds. There are different fields in which the volunteers can choose to work.

You can volunteer for making our media team, in which you will be looking after media coverage of all the events, talking to other youth, if possible some MPs or even Celebrities and capturing there views and ideas. -You can prove your talent in organizing an event in your City, College Or Campus. -Even being a part of the event that is happening.

Use your skills in raising funds for our upcoming events. If you feel you have some other talent that can be used, please let us know. Try to send this mail to all your family and friends. It is not that you will win a fortune by doing that but for sure help us in bringing a change that our future generation will thank you for. If we can devote just about 10-15 minutes of our daily time toward this cause, things will look different in India too.

There are more clips, watch the students section on our website. This is another article I want to share with you all. World's megacities ripe for mega disaster: UN Some of the world's biggest cities, including Mumbai and New Delhi, are at growing risk of ‘mega disasters; the UN's humanitarian chief said on Tuesday, warning that climate change was behind a rising number of natural catastrophes "We are going to see more disasters and more intense disasters as a result of climate change," said UN under Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs John Holmes "The trends in disasters particularly from climate change are of enormous concern, we can only expect that this trend is going to continue," he told journalists on the sidelines of a conference on reducing disaster risks.

Some 90 per cent of disasters are of climatic origin, caused by storms, floods, drought or other extreme weather conditions, according to the UN's weather agency. Holmes said some of the world's biggest cities housing millions of people were highly exposed to disasters, being located in coastal areas that would be threatened by rising sea levels, or in earthquake zones.

"The risks of mega disasters in some of these megacities are rising all the time," Holmes warned, predicting a lot more deaths in future natural disasters. Megacities include Tokyo, with a population of more than 35 million, and Mumbai, New Delhi, Mexico city and Sao Paulo with more than 20 million inhabitants each.
